What is Gatopardo?
Gatopardo is the most influential current events magazine in Latin America.
The magazine is dedicated to narrative journalism, a mixture of good writing, perceptive observations about social issues, in-depth reporting and memorable profiles of the most influential people in the region.
Gatopardo is an award winning publication distributed in many countries throughout Latin America.
Editorial composition
Sixty percent of our magazine focuses on the most prominent Latin American stories about power, society and show business. Some of our most recent covers have featured Mexican insurgent leader subcomandante Marcos and fashion designer Carolina Herrera, Homer Simpson and Frida Kahlo.
Sections
The remaining 40 percent is dedicated to two sections with smaller stories.
The front of the book, called Agenda pública, carries general interest stories on topics like Latin American politics, the media as well as the area's most relevant events for the month. The middle of the book section, called Agenda privada, focuses on lifestyle, with pages dedicated to art, music, books, movies, design and consumer interest on such things as technology, cars and food.
Who reads Gatopardo?
Gatopardo's readers are young people – between 25 and 40 year old- college graduates and professionals. They are worried about what is going on in the world and need to be up to date on today's topics of importance. They have high income spending patterns and an above average lifestyle. The majority of our readers are single or married without children. They travel and enjoy the entertainment their cities offer.
